Our client is an international manufacturing company located in Levice.

Main tasks / Hlavné úlohy

  •  Being responsible for the financial oversight and financial operations of manufacturing and distribution operations in the plant
  • Managing activities associated with the cost accounting, state and local taxes, payroll accounting, financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls
  • Supporting achievement of KPIs for the plant
  • Providing support to the plant leadership team in critical decisions
  • Assessing and developing the Accounting and Finance Team employees
  • Preparing and executing financial plans
  • Providing support through business analysis, strategic oversight, identification of areas for improvement and management of key projects, including some operational and commercial projects
  • Managing the financial statement closing process while ensuring compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and control requirements
  • Preparing forecasts, budgets
  • Being responsible for timely preparation and filing of all state/local tax reports and payments
  • Identifying and leading process improvement projects to automate and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliation at the end of the month
  • Acting as a lead point of contact for internal and external auditors
  • Controlling invoices (accommodation & flights) from foreign partners and reports
  • Controlling payments in internal system and bank, resolving issues

Requirements / Požiadavky

  • Relevant education degree
  • Strong financial accounting skills
  • Advanced skills with accounting and financial consolidations and controllinfg systems
  • Excellent Slovak and English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven people management skills and ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to anticipate changing business needs and potential external risks
  • Capability to liaise at all levels of the business
  • Strong hand-on approach

Information about salary / Informácia o mzde

From 3.400 EUR (gross) / month + bonus

The final salary amount will be defined based on the successful candidate´s experience and seniority.
