Our client is an international logistics company, located in the Trnava region.

Main tasks / Hlavné úlohy

  • Ensuring compliance with all operational internal standards, and compliance with norms and standards of quality and safety of the clients
  • Being responsible for achievement of financial and non-financial objectives related to area of responsibility
  • Managing business processes associated with the Operating Department
  • Implementing regulations and policies approved by the Managing Director
  • Contributing to capacity and investment planning in the budget process
  • Planning finance and resources for area of responsibility
  • Ensuring optimal utilization of capacities
  • Being accountable for planning, budget and end results in area of responsibility
  • Planning, implementing, controlling and optimizing all processes within the Warehouse and Transport Department
  • Contributing to investment decisions concerning area of responsibility
  • Ensuring quality and maintenance of equipment
  • Controlling cost/key figures to ensure productivity
  • Leading and motivating department employees
  • Applying standard procedures for adequate, reliable and accurate warehouse and transport activities
  • Being responsible for overall manpower planning for the Operations Department
  • Ensuring continuous verification of Distribution Centre efficiency
  • Being responsible for continuous cost control
  • Supervising and organizing inventory
  • Ensuring compliance with customers´ standards (e.g. HACCP, QIP, AIB etc.)
  • Driving customer and employee satisfaction, social compliance and company culture
  • Evaluating employees´ performance
  • Providing staff counseling, training and support
  • Managing human resources issues (e.g. compensation, recruiting) in coordination with human resources

Requirements / Požiadavky

  • More than 7 years of experience in the Operations area in a multinational logistics or manufacturing company
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with leading of multi-functional team with different cost centers
  • Working knowledge of English language, fluent level
  • Experience with working in an ERP system, as well as in a warehouse management system and with transport optimization tools
  • Overview of the transport legislation
  • Strong leadership capacity
  • Orientation on results
  • Very good planning and organization skills
  • Flexibility to attend special situations or urgent request from clients

Information about salary / Informácia o mzde

3 500 EUR/month+ bonuses + company car

The final salary amount will be defined based on the successful candidate´s experience and seniority.
